The mobile phone companies offer these services not only in the United States but all over the world including Europe, Australia and Asia. Then your profile is entered into a database that the other members can access. This allows people to chat with each other over their phone without actually needed to divulge their phone number. Telephone dating agencies hit the market about ten years ago. Often times you would see their advertisements on TV or in the yellow pages. Then you would call a number and leave a message describing yourself. Other people could then dial that number and listen to all of the messages that were left. Then if you liked someone you were able to give them a message in their personal voice mailbox. It was kind of like sending emails back and forth to each other except it was by voice messages.

This led to the development and popularity of the video dating agencies. This way you could make video messages instead of just leaving voice messages. This way people would be able to see your physical appearance instead of just hearing your voice. Some people like this better because physical attraction is important.

Many people today are turning to the many types of dating agencies out there to help them find their soul mates. It is much more convenient and easier to meet people through these services than the traditional method of being fixed up or finding someone at the bar. If you are interested in using a dating service you should start with using a phone dating service. You can get to know someone by sending them messages or calling them. Be aware though that just because you like the person over the telephone doesn't mean you will like them in real life. Be sure that you meet each other face to face before you develop any strong feelings toward that person.
